ok so as a parent it get expensive unless you are great with the word no. one of the things we have started doing with our kids is to give them an allowance, when we buy cloithes we buy normal every day stuff however if he wants a name brand shirt or video game that is rather expensive then we tell them to save up their allowance so that he can buy it his self.
another thing we do is drink tea. ok its not the best for you but, $1 for 17 gallons of tea plus 8.00 for sugar, you see the cost difference right?
making your own things can be quite a challenge and very cost effective for example i wanted an university of alabama handbag, little tote bag thing, they range from $30 and up, well i own a sewing machine a can sew a straight line for the most part, i bought the supplies and for $9 i have my bag laid out no i just have to run it through the machine first, once its done i will post you a picture to see.
